This is just excellent. The American people know the real deal when they see it. That is why, on a shoe-string budget, no less, Mike Huckabee won so many primary votes and continues to maintain a strong and undeniable following today.

People ultimately vote for the presidency with their hearts. When I consider the big money politics of other candidates and questionable loyalties, there’s no substituting passion for politicking.

Mike Huckabee is an individual who reminds Americans who they are amidst an ever-changing and fickle landscape. But he does it with a message of hope and optimism that seeks not to offer vague and ill-conceived promises, but to unite people toward realizing tangible results!

I hope Mr. McCain does not overlook the fresh ideas, proven selflessness, vision, inspiration, and integrity that Mr. Huckabee would bring to his administration. Not only would Mr. Huckabee continue to rally and restore the Republican Party, but the confidence of all American people in itself.

I support Governor Huckabee for many reasons. I fail to see that he has any weaknesses as VP candidate.

1. He is honest and moral
2. He is personable
3. He is a proven leader on the executive level of government
4. He assures a solid south in the electoral college ( an absolute necessity for a Republican win)
5. He is young
6. He is an effective campaigner
7. He will draw conservative democrats in a race with Obama
8. Despite what the press would have us belive he is a proven uniter.

I want Mike Huckabee as Vice President. He is moral!!!
He has good judgement. He has good concepts when he
speaks. He is an excellent speaker and can bring a lot to
the table. McCain needs Mike Huckabee’s youth and
vitality!!! Huckabee has been a Govenor, he understands
the middle man, which is most of us!!! He has great appeal
to all people, Democrats and Republicans.

Go Mike, I will vote for you and McCain!!!

Mike Huckabee is the ONLY logical choice for vice-president. He is a UNIFIER, a strong, consistent conservative, principled, with more executive governatorial experience that ANY candidate ever! He has the exact same character as Senator McCain himself! Both men refused to quit their respective campaigns when pundits, even friends (MCCAins own mgr. walked out on him) told them to give up. I don’t know about you, but I certainly don’t want a president or vice-president who even knows the meaning of the word quit!! He has earned the spot since he came in 2nd to McCain in delegates and stayed in the race to the finish!!! Huckabee can be trusted, a most critical factor!!!

Huckabee has a good chance of being selected v.p. for his:
1) vote-getting capacity in the ‘red’ and southern states.
2) his executive experience and winning democrats and blacks (aka African-Americans)
3) his winsome personality

And in the event of some confusion (compromised capacity of the Presidential candidate, for example, or some ‘killer scandal’ Huckabee is then probably the frontrunner among gop delegates.

Please read this article and the ones it links to. You will see what I am talking about. Keep in mind that I am not particulary trying to talk anyone out of voting for McCain. I just think there is more to him than meets the eye and it may not all be positive.

I fully realize what you are talking about and I agree, up to a certain point. I also realize Hillary Clinton can not be trusted as far as I could throw her and Barack Obama, we agree on as well. My point about McCain is this. He has been in the front of the battle against special interests and their influence in Washington, but it looks as if he has been in bed with the special interests all along. That is why I say I do not trust Hohn McCain. It makes me wonder what he will do if he is elected President.

Larry I agree with your main article but I want to ask about your McCain trust issues.

I agree that being able to trust a president is the most important thing.

When has McCain ever lied about anything ever?

Look at Hillary. She is a compulsive lier. She lies even when she doesn’t have to.

Is McCain looking a bit better now?

When has McCain ever attached anyone first?

Hillary will do anything and say anything and attack anyone to get elected.

With McCain you see is what you get.

With Hillary you have to look through all the false faces to find which Hillary you are dealing with.

Mike Huckabee is supporting McCain.

Every time a Huckabee supporter goes against his wishes and attacks McCain, they support Hillary.

As far as Obama.

You can trust him to do what he says he will do. Like Mike says “we just can’t afford him as president”.

Gov. Huckabee is the only smart choice for VP. We need him in Washington yesterday. OK, ASAP. I don’t even know if I’m going to vote at all this November!
This man reminds me so much of Thomas Jefferson from the things I’ve read, and that is truly a good thing. The gov’s. vision is so much like Jefferson and Jefferson got it right. His core beliefs and values remind me so much of Huckabee.
If it’s a McCain/Huckabee ticket, I’m there. You couldn’t keep me from the polls!
